    Just some general Checks :)

    How old are the headsets?
    OLD

What revision of bluetooth are they using?
    I'm not sure, but it's not BT3.0+

Do you have HS1 and HS2 working at the same time?
Yes and NO, makes no difference

Do you have any other wireless devices in use, Phones, Amazon alexa, etc
Yes, a lot but even if I close ALL other wireless devices it does not make any difference under Windows

Older bluetooth devices were susceptible to interference much more that the current batch, the same applies to the bluetooth version.
The fact that these are two identical models could mean that the possibility of interference could be increased as the both use the same components.
Bluetooth is susceptible to interference just like any other radio device and with the amount of such devices growing exponentailly these days
I agree, but I have also brand new BT gamepads and same issue with them under Windows.

If I switch to Linux I can have my 2 BT headsets, 1 BT speaker and 2 BT gamepads all connected at the same time to same device without any issues, and this is with every BT or any wireless device 1meter from these connected devices. No issues what so ever.

So I blame Windows for this. It has been like this since BT came to Windows. I don't know how stuff works on Apple devices, but under Linux and Android I have absolutely NO issues, ever.

I have had terrible issues with download speeds from my ISP on PC with 17134. I tested downloads on my android phone and fine e.g. 9 MB/s but on PC 1 MB/s. I tracked down the issue to the virtual switch set up for Hyper-V VMs.

I did a "reset my network" and it set network connect back to direct wifi drivers, and then download speeds were back to normal.

Next problem was Hyper-V VMs would not connect to internet as I had removed the virtual switch. Reinstated virtual switch and the download speeds on Host dropped again!

So I reset again to remove the virtual switched and just used the new "default switch" in Hyper-V which does not go via a virtual switch, and now I can see internet from VMs and Host downloads at full speed.

Only minor downside as the new default switch is behind NAT, I cannot RDP directly to the VM and more. Not a big deal as I can RDP to host and just see VM with VMconnect.

While I was typing this, my headset suddenly connected to Windows and now stay connected. This connection was not even intentional...they just suddenly decided to work again.

    Confusing!

What about hidden devices in device manager? If the devices aren't passing serial numbers Windows can get all confused and start adding #2, #3, #4 etc...
No hidden BT devices at the moment. I even checked the registry to see what it has found and only thing in existence are these two headsets. Everything looks as it should but I still have these issues every now and then. One minute they work, the next they don't.

I think I go to the forest tomorrow with my laptop, my mobile and all my BT devices that runs on battery and test them all one at a time to see if it helps solve this issue at all. :)

I currently run both my headsets, my Gear3 Watch, 2 BT controllers at the same time playing on my Note3. No glitches, no pops in sound, no input lag, Watch data syncs real time....NADA ISSUES.

If I try to connect 1 device to Windows while all other are turned off, I have a success about 1 out of 10 times.

Toni, how about settings in advanced power options?
You know selective suspend, link power state and all?

All at maximum performance/no suspend/no turn off/no sleep. Makes no difference. :)

Edit: this is the default on all my laptops when PSU is connected.

Is there a power management tab in the properties for your headset(again device manager).

“Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”

Nope! And by the way...all BT related drivers are MS Generic drivers.

    %SystemRoot%\System32\Winevt\Logs\Microsoft-Windows-UserPnp%4DeviceInstall.evtx

Paste the above in the Run dialog,
and it will open Event Viewer to User Plug and Play,
    check for errors there.
