Now the big question - is Tuesday's release going to be numbered 1803 or 1804?

I find(personally) all these personal assistants programs like Cortana, Siri and co. pretty useless on a desktop PC.

But using them might forward AI research and development, to where they can be useful for handicap people, and environments where you cannot use your hands to type(Astronaut: Cortana take a picture of the Earth, Cortana how is my spacesuits air quality?) Pilot: Cortana, turn that damn collision control siren off!).
Yes, for most computer geeking stuff any personal assistant is quite useless.

I do however use Bixby on my Note8 quite a lot when I don't have both my hands free. I just press the dedicated Bixby button and start yapping. :)

When AI evolves to a state where one can speak in any language and the AI understands context, that is the day I will seriously start using it.

Speaking of Cortana, does anybody know if there exist an API a developer could use to teach her new languages and make her a bit more intelligent than a can of beans?

I turned cortana off a long time ago. It's not nearly as good as Google Home, and neither is Alexa, siri or Bixby. I have all the information I need in one product, and therefore have no need of any other one, even though I use a phone with Bixby (Turned off), a computer with Cortana (Turned off) and an Amazon Dot (Got for free with an Amazon Business account. None of them perform as consistently or accurately as my Google Home.

On another note, can anybody on here confirm the ability with Task View (Timeline), the ability to open doc's, spreadsheets or other useful apps, on your computer from another device such as your tablet or phone???

Yep, I can open Word using Bixby and then open any document using Bixby. :)

...but I guess that was not what was asked...

I can, but I had to reinstall the Build a second time - rolled back to prior build and reinstalled it - in order to get Task View to work at all. After second install, all is well and can view/open docs on other computers.
Don't have phone or tablet hooked to computer network directly, iPhone and ipad don't seem to like to talk with my computers.
