As posted above, the name is the build name/date, not the release date :)

I've had no need to upgrade to version 1803, since 1709 has been working like a charm. Only reason I eventually did upgrade on all my machines is because I was quite sure it was stable enough to run on physical hardware as my main OS. So that was what I did, upgraded to latest build as a good Windows Insider would do. :) There are a few glitches that MS still has to resolve before official release, but over all it's a stable build.

For anyone who is not an insider, don't want to be one and system stability and compatibility with current apps is a must, I highly recommend to wait at least until the next version of Windows is ready, and even better would be to wait 6 months more (just in case).

It's ready when it's ready...it can be this spring or it can be next summer. Either way we should not care that much about the actual release date nor the final marketing name, as long as the build/version is stable, secure, compatible and reliable. :)

What's really annoying are all the rumoured/leaked 'intended release dates'. Such a let down at the end of the day when nothing materialises...

    Here we go again!
