I worked for 5 years with Verizon Wireless before I retired and they supplied us phones which were mostly flip phones.
After I retired I decide to go with a Lumina Icon for wife and myself.
Great phone but they are stuck on W10 1607 and no hope for the future.
I see so many apps for Apple and Android I would like to try but very little for windows.
Batteries are getting worn but new batteries can still be found.

Hanging on for now as prices are out of site.

I started having problems with my Lumia 950 so I retired it. I wanted to go with another Windows Phone but AT&T doesn't sell them anymore. Even the Microsoft Store is just about done selling them. To keep it in a price range I could pay cash for I went with a Samsung Galaxy J7. Definitely worth the $239.99 that I paid for it and I don't have a contract to worry about. :)

I miss Microsoft Combat simulator. A version of Flightsimulator with WWII planes and combat.
Windows Live (mail) also.
The possibility to change a lot more of the "windows desktop look" alä windows 7.

The key missing program for me is the excellent Microsoft Money (UK version). I still use the 2005 version which you can still find for free and it works fine under the latest version of Windows 10. I never understood why MS stopped developing Money.

The Windows 10 fix was only needed for the initial release of Windows 10.

Picture it.......still using it myself, old folks prefer old school ways......LOL

Wonder if Win 10 overall will also eventually exp same fate. Doesn't seem like there are many good decisions being made there. If G or someone comes out with a viable OS...
