Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Skip Ahead Build 17639 - April 4 Insider

I caught this update before it has any chance of pre downloading so I was able to chronicle the time taken.
Bottom line 28 minutes start to finish the update.

I have 25-30MBps internet connection, 2700K Kaby Lake CPU OC to 4.9GHz, Samsung NVME 950 Pro? SSD.

No Issues here for En-US, AMD64 and all editions. About to use the .ISO to upgrade.

I noticed that in Windows 10 build 17639, blocked files now have a Windows Defender Application Guard overlay on their icon like below to indicate it's a blocked file.

EDIT: It appears you will need to have Windows Defender Application Guard turned on to see it.

Well, this was one of longest ever update. Worst part was download, it kept on cutting off, one moment 20Mbps and than falling to 0. Hope it wasn't because of CloudFlare DNS ! Anyway, once I made iso it all finished in 5 minutes.

Download completed in 10 minutes from restart to screen. Made an iso before restart. Did WU instead of Dump. Too busy with too many other personal things going on in my life.
