I got caught with my internet down to 2Mbps (spent 100GB of fast internet limit) so it took couple of hours to DL but after that all went very fast. Btw. Maps do work just not live tile.

I can't install Cortana Show me. There's no option to DL.

Don't feel bad. I can get the DL option, but "She" keeps telling me I have too many devices (10 cap) to get any more Store Apps, and I need/must delete/remove 1. I have 4. Loopy-loopy-loopy-loopy. Gave up.........
