I have a tendacy to rush to get updates when it's peaceful, and I got time to upgrade all the machines, thankfully I only put this release of 1803 on 3 of 4 systems, clean installing those again probably won't be a major deal if have to or restore the previous Macrium image if restores right this time lol

I agree with this 100%!!! And OEM's will sell what they've got, regardless of what OS is on it. They all know that it can be updated within minutes or hours. So I don't think this is a pressure by the OEM's thing. I think M$ needs to get it right before releasing. That is the vital thing here. I've never understood why anyone is ever in a rush to get the Official release, especially insiders. As soon as it's released, we will have another insider build within days or weeks. So, why the hype? I just prefer to sit back and enjoy the ride. When there's an update, cool. If there's no update, cool also, what I have is working...
I recall the days when an upgrade to the next version of Windows was imminent, OEMs advertised that if you buy it today, this week, this month, that the next version of Windows would be free. So, sales just went on as usual, with John Q. Public knowing s/he was entitled to the next upgrade.
Fast forward to Windows 10, and it no longer matters which version of Windows 10 is on the computer we buy, we know we'll be entitled to updates/upgrades for the life of that computer. So, if I buy a new computer and it has the Fall Creators Update, I know that the next update will come in due time.
As long as the computer does what I need it to do, why worry? Of course, there are all the Internet rumors of what the next version of Windows 10 will be like that I'll want to get it ASAP, but I know it'll be out in due time.

It was actually warmer today than it has been. I'm just itching to get going on my garden... gotta get the peas in by Tax Day!
I am quite a ways from Keene, north and west of Concord - in the mighty metropolis of Salisbury ;-) Been here in the woods for 25 years and (mostly) loving it...
