Don't think it's anything against the rules Wynona. Link is to ghack.net who links to Microsoft servers, and is basically the same as to jump into release preview and back again, or make the ISO from updating virtual machine and then perform in-place repair... Here are threads about checking MS servers for esd files and making ISO from them..
very quick download and install everything seams to be working alright
Installed fine. Also I didn't get a virus message with Defender.
I must say i'm impressed with this version. It runs alot smoother on mine than the Fall Creators did. Also I love the Fluent taskbar and start. Really love it on the pop up calender (when you left click on the time on the taskbar.)
I do wish they would fix the flashing icons on the taskbar when interacting recycle bin though. (Present since launch.)
If you delete anything to the recycle bin then watch your pinned to the taskbar icons they will all (or some as it seems random) will flash. Emptying it also does it.
Its a known fault with Windows 10. It does it on every system that i've seen and tried it on that runs 10. (Laptops, other PCs, so its nothing hardware or installed software related.)
Microsoft are aware of it and have said its because the taskbar refreshes as it thinks something has changed on it when it hasn't. I assume just cause its such a trivial thing they haven't bothered with it, as its done it since the very first version of Windows 10.
Nope, though I did like the orange flash they had in the early pre-release versions of Windows 10 I thought that was pretty cool, then they changed it to the standard and what we have now.
Updated 4 systems from 17133.1 to 17173.73 without problems. No issues discovered following update on any system.
