KB4100375 Windows 10 Insider Release Preview Build 17133.73 - Apr.10 Insider
-
Hi,
The ISO that I used to make a clean install of 17133 is 4,057,394 kb. Is this like any of yours?
Mine comes pretty close to yours, it was made using UUP2ISO.
4057,392 Kb in size.
Cheers,

OK, so I had downloaded 17133.1 on 28 march via UUP DUMP, again on April 3 (the first time that UUP DUMP had the 1803 available, the one that Kari said above was not working yesterday) and again today. None of those three .ISOs are the same, hash checks prove it. The oldest one for IP is also the smallest, while the one from Tuesday (the first 1803) is slightly larger, and the one from today (the current 1803) is the same size as the older 1803 but with a different hash.
That sounds a bit weird.
I just checked 17133.1 Pro EN_US x64 for the 2 different releases available via UUP-Dump and the file hashes match 100%.

The one in yellow matches yours (except for the 2 bytes, which I can't explain), from updating Insider Fast last Tuesday. One in green is a little larger, from updating Release preview today. Both single, not combined like John's.

Maybe cause I changed the name? Stuck the (WU) on the end so I would know what the source was? Just a S.W.A.G.

Thanks for the additional advice. One thing I have to check and see is if they are on X86 or x64, that part I do not recall.
As for clean installing - trust me, I know all about that. Same applies to older laptops, of which I Have 2 right here that I am running on IP builds as well. Clean installing on them is always a PITA. It's gotten so bad that I have the entire applicable OEM driver repositories already downloaded and saved on my Flash drive if i ever need to clean install to them again.
The good news is that both of their laptops are identical, so it will be a single set of downloads for those OEM drivers that I may end up needing. The bad news is that I would have to take their machines one at a time and do this, as they need to keep one around for use.
So, just to be clear, even if I have the .ISO, if it doesn't have the required free space it still will not perform an inplace upgrade, correct?
That will normally work. Put iso on sd card or flash drive to save space on pc.
It will use a usb flash drive as temporary space, but you still need around 4GB spare for it to work. My method was a last resort really.

It is part of the file data, metadata, name has to go somewhere.
Not important...............

Feature update 1803 incoming to the RP ring.
I use to be able to select release preview instead of other selection but not any more. Is that no longer an option?

You downloaded both of them made an .ISO and checked them against each other?
That's what I am about to do (well, I can't re-download the one from 3 April as that is the same name as the current 1803 listed, and the file size is identical but a different hash).
The other 17133.1 I should still be able to DL and make a new .ISO
