there probably be new ISO but not this build as they usually a few builds behind on insider ISO's

there will certainly be a ISO of this build with official public release

Well, has anybody came close to 30 mins - MS claim is laughable?!
One hour 38 minutes and it's at 77%. Laughable is putting it mildly.

It's total downtime though of 30 minutes, not from when you click on the download button. You can still use your computer.

But that is the only time it is not available for other work. They have been moving more of the upgrade process to before the restart to achieve this.
That is a true statement, but has little to do with the update process. The process of an update is not defined by your ability to use your computer or not. Once I click update, if it hasn't started already, that is when the updating process begins. Just because I can work on other things while it is updating, doesn't mean it's not updating. If we were only looking at the time between hitting restart and loading the desktop, then my times would be much, much quicker. In the range of five to eight minutes easily.

Yes, the online process now takes longer because it runs (supposedly) with "low priority", they explained it in a publication recently:

My computer slows down and the mouse becomes unresponsive at certain points while installing so it's not 100% usable. When using UUPDump I don't have this problem.

Am I missing something, here? MS says they are "preparing for the final release" meaning, that this is NOT yet the final release ... but Thurrott says this IS the RTM. Huh?
This is RTM if nothing really bad happen. Microsoft is always playing such games. Pretending that "RTM" build is just another build. Look back at "RTM" builds blog posts from previous releases.

I have to re-time it once RTM is official. I will test on physical machine (not VM, which I use now)...fastest I've got so far is from Opening up WU to full reboot and to upgraded desktop was about 35minutes. That is on my old Tractor of a laptop.
