    Try installing it using the compatibility troubleshooter and use Windows 8.

    This build seems to work fine on my system except for one thing;

    I can not seem to get Adobe Acrobat Reader to work with this build.
    Rocky, I just opened a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat REader DC and printed it. Worked just fine.

    Same here, ER. Have you filed feedback? If so, give me the link and I'll upvote.
    No, Wynona, I haven't yet as I'm blocked- I have disabled entire and all telemetry globally...

    Sorry Wynona, It's been along time since reading the rules. Thank you for pointing that out.

    After a few days since doing a clean install this is some of my results. First I found what was causing my intermittent problem with sleep mode. I thought it was because of Malwarebytes but it turned out to be the video driver that NVIDIA Geforce installed. Then I had a problem trying to rejoin the Insider Ring. I think the server may have been down. I can now access my AT&T account with Edge. Still can't access it with Firefox. The last problem I had was with the Store app. Some apps I could download and some I couldn't. One app that wouldn't download was a game that I had purchased in the store. I tried installing on another computer and it downloaded and installed without a problem. I tried to reset the store app and even went as far as to uninstall the store app so I could try reinstalling it and I still couldn't install certain apps. As a last attempt I did a in-place repair install and it did fix the problem. other than that everything seems to be running OK.

    You sometimes have to laugh at settings changes when upgrading. I do not use system restore points now, preferring to use incremental backups instead.

    All the time, I had system restore points enabled, they would get disabled after the upgrade. Now, I disable them, naturally, they now get enabled after the upgrade - LOL!

    The thought processes of developers can often appear strange...

    One possible reason for this strange anomaly could be that as Restore Points are used for some tasks by the system, an upgrade will set the default to on, as is the case with other options resetting.

    However, if the Restore points are on at the upgrade point and thus contain data, this data should not be restored to the new system as they could overwrite items which are different in the upgraded system. The upgrade will therefore switch the option off (deleting the old restore point ), to prevent potential issues in future.

    It would also not surprise me that a command to switch restore Points to ON was included in the first update after the Upgrade, just to set things as they should be

    Well put and that's exactly what lots of usesr don't seem to understand.

    Cheers,
