No, but I read somewhere MS is wanting to do away with Homegroup and use Network Shares, or something to that effect. I know just enough to know I'm not sure!
Thanks. That's more than I knew about it. Just so long as I can keep everything in house and out of any clouds, I'll be OK.

Well, I finally got to the restart. Took 1hr 45 mins from the crash going though the install phase. That's a lot longer than usual. Fingers crossed for the rest.

I'm on attempt number three. The first attempt using UUPDump the install stopped responding at 62%. Rebooted and tried doing again with a fresh download and ISO. The second time the install wouldn't get past 62%. I canceled the install and restarted the computer. Thinking that the ISO from the UUPDump may be the problem I decided to try using Windows Update. I started at 5:23 and it is now at 77%. One problem I have is Firefox lost all my info and thinks it's a new install. Edge and Pale Moon are OK.

Firefox (59.0) is taking half a minute to connect to internet... Edge and Vivaldi are working fine. It was fine before update.

    Anybody else?

I made an in place upgrade using the ISO created with the files downloaded through UUP dump and I had no problem.

No, sir. I had actually updated my FF after the updates, not before. Maybe a difference, don't know. You could try the FF refresh, all you have to do is put your addons back on. Or try FF in safe mode.....

@AndreTen: Firefox 59.0 comes up in under 10 seconds on my i5-4210Y mobile processor Dell Venue Pro 11 7130. Seems about the same as it ever was.

I tried it twice and couldn't get past 62%. The first time the install actually stopped responding (froze) at 62%. The second time the dots just kept spinning at 62%. I'm trying Widows Update and it's at 90%. If I ever get to the option to restart I will make a ISO and try again.
