Something along those lines. Whatever it is, it would be bad for consumers and would be bad for Microsoft's reputation. < I use that word loosely. What gets me is, if its that bad, how did it go unnoticed until now? Assuming yesterday was going to be the rollout?
And also given that Insider build works fine (mostly).

They are too busy holding their heads, running around and bumping into things ?

Nick, they really don't have an obligation to address any delay. A date was never announced. Nothing to defend. Like a plane that was never scheduled to fly, it can't be delayed. As always, just IMHO.

I’m surprised they held back. Bugs never stopped them before!!! I do agree though, how did something if that serious get this far along?

Somebody earlier, do not recall name, said this all popped up suddenly when it was released to the Release Preview Ring last Thu/Fri. To my knowledge, this is the only update to that ring since last Fall. I believe it's also the Default Ring when you join Insiders (might be wrong on that). Good chance a lot of lower end or different hardware hit the dance floor, and the bugs crawled out of the woodwork. Just a guess.

Even MS doesn't have access to every configuration on earth.

I am really glad they found whatever was wrong and are going to fix it before release. I don't mind waiting to update.

I forget the forums, but I remember running Windows XP years back. I was pretty active on the forums and helped with posting about updates and what not. I just so happened to be the first one to post about 2 new Windows Updates this one day. Oh my god, those updates were wrecking/borking everyone's computers. It was terrible. I wanted to hide off the forums for a while

Let them get it right before release for sure. :)

At this rate it might be called Summer Update.

Or just name it something other than "season" Creator Update. I mean how lazy does that sound.
