I think I read somewhere, today is exactly one year from the 1703 release? Nothing up on Visual Studio (MSDN) yet.

I decided to take a shortcut. I used UUPDump and UUPtoISO to make a Windows Home ISO so I could update my wife's Laptop and desktop. The laptop was a upgrade from Windows 7 and the key wasn't accepted. I had to join it to the Insider Ring and it's installing now. On the desktop that came with Windows 10 the key was excepted without any problems and the upgrade is installing. When the laptop finishes I'll drop it out of the Insider Ring.

A bit over a year now....

Though it depends on if you count the early release via Upgrade Assistant and MCT or the official start of the rollout.

Version 1703 was released on April 11, 2017 for general availability and on April 5, 2017 for manual installation via Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant and Media Creation Tool tools...

And there is an update out already: 17133.73. Now I am manually updating my official gone unofficial release. LOL.

Could someone tell me what a "blocking bug" is exactly? I assume it implies that something is bad causing the update to be "blocked", or to stall the release?

Likely means it was breaking machines during the upgrade process and leaving them in a undesired state.

Something along those lines. Whatever it is, it would be bad for consumers and would be bad for Microsoft's reputation. < I use that word loosely.

What gets me is, if its that bad, how did it go unnoticed until now? Assuming yesterday was going to be the rollout?
