marked tabs do not stay in the 'sets' in edge. So pretty useless if working on something to which you want to refer back!

It would be lovely if the tabs could be 'Pinned' and if Chrome could be used instead of Edge...maybe one day

Was Malwarebytes Premuim installed at the time of the in place upgrade to 17618 or did you have to uninstall it ? first?

(I had a green screen from the Kaspersky .sys file last week when I tried to upgrade then)
Usually not - though there have been the odd issues here and there (usually with one of the real time protections failing to enable after an upgrade - TC and I have both encountered this problem, but as I am also on hte MB forums, this problem is pretty widespread, and not limited to just WinX upgrades, it happens more often than anyone would like and quite randomly).

In case of such happening, though, usually just using the MB Clean tool will fix it right up.

And you don't have to run the ßeta version of MB premium either - just the standard released version will do fine (I, of course, usually run ßetas of almost all software I can in these IP builds, but that is just me )

Would be even better if it allowed you to open any app that you wanted open, including another tab of the app you just opened...it can be done, but it is trickery, an as noted by cereberus, you need an appropriate mouse to do so (the easy way).

But, it is still an improvement. Needs work still, but definitely better than not having anything like that.

John, when you use the square box in the upper left of the Edge screen (next to settings) it saves what you have been viewing. But at next opening -- i.e. this morning -- the marked boxes have disappeared and the dialog is 'Tabs from last time there is nothing saved' or something like that. So what has happened?

Well! I haven't used my insider machine for a couple of days and now I find that I have tabs working!

However when I try it on file explorer, the new tab opens a web browser page and not file explorer.

For now that's the normal behavior, from that page you can search for any app or open another file explorer tab:

If you want to open any of the folders of the file explorer in a new tab you have to hold down the control key and double click on the folder or if you want to open multiple tabs of the file explorer you can click with the middle button on the file explorer icon in the taskbar, you can also open the Start menu and click on the file explorer shortcut on the left, always keeping the control key pressed, there are several ways to do it, we must remember that this feature has just been implemented in the file explorer, the insiders can not expect it to work perfectly or how each of us wants it to work, that's why Microsoft asks that we send our experiences and suggestions through the Feedback hub.

Do you know if they plan to make it so if you open a new tab, it'll open a tab from the same application?
