@Wynona, did you read these articles? I read them and the act of putting any of this into action does not seem to be happening.
Not yet, Magilla. My printer isn't cooperating at the moment and I haven't had time to figure it out. It'll print page 1 and that's it.

Today I've noticed that when I click on the + sign or use Ctrl/Win T for a new tab, Edge starts with a blank page stays around for a second then disappears. Any idea how to rectify that behaviour?

Solved...Avast AntiVirus was the cause ! Bit Defender Free used now instead, it's stable with this build

Why are you using two AV? There's no need.

    Final paritioning is finally finshed

sda1 Winidows Server Insider Preview Build 17093 43.16 GB
    sda2 Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17618 97.66 GB
    sda3 Debian Unstable 97.66 GB

Now the fun begins. Partitioning is not fun. This computer does not have UEFI - the next one will.

I'm not! I've uninstalled Avast & now have Bit Defender Free. Do you think Defender is good enough on it's own? (I certainly don't)

Many of us on here use Defender with Malwarebytes.

Was Malwarebytes Premuim installed at the time of the in place upgrade to 17618 or did you have to uninstall it ? first?

(I had a green screen from the Kaspersky .sys file last week when I tried to upgrade then)
