It is opening an instance of Microsoft Edge - and it should be no different than as if you opened Microsoft Edge itself. See Leo's picture.

    in addition, see this picture.

    Attachment 180411

In it, the bigger window in the background is an actual Microsoft Edge window. The smaller window in the middle is actually a Command Prompt window, into which I've opened a Sets tab of Microsoft Edge (default behavior when just pressing the big plus sign that I have marked).

Edge does not have a SETS tab button because, well, it *is* Edge, so it is a normal new tab button.

Now, if you go back to the pic posted earlier where someone said you have it installed, the picture of the Settings window has that same + button to open a new Microsoft Edge instance in a new 'tab' - THAT is what SETS is all about currently.

Also, you can turn off that feature in Edge settings, as well as turn off the feed.
Thanks, John. Appreciate the additional 'heads-up' - and between you and Leo, I think I get it, at least, a beginning of it!

Well, here's an experiment gone bad!
About 150 tabs open in Edge; you think when you close Edge all tabs will close and all is fine? Nope!
It seems to create an eternal 'background tab pool', and that's when things start going haywire!

You have to wait for all of them to load to close them manually!

Uh, yeah, Edge never shows me any promise when it comes to multiple tabs (anything above 20, really) so I avoid it like the plague.

But it is good for accessing my Microsoft Account info, my Office 365 Subscription status, etc. - basically anything already tied to the Microsoft account that I use with my installations.

Other than that, they can keep it.

But that toggle only works when a new tab is opened directly in Edge, when you use Sets to open a new tab, that toggle doesn't have any effect, the tab will always show you the top sites.

Ah, good catch. Did not realize that.

So that makes it even more worthless in my eyes lol.

@Wynona, did you read these articles? I read them and the act of putting any of this into action does not seem to be happening.
Not yet, Magilla. My printer isn't cooperating at the moment and I haven't had time to figure it out. It'll print page 1 and that's it.
