Installed and seems to be running OK. I didn't time it this time. I hit check for updates and let my laptop do it's thing. When I came back it was at the login screen. :)
I am very happy to say that overclocking is working again for me on this latest build.
1. Still required a hard reset after going to sleep on my desktop.
2. Successfully updated a Hyper-V Build 17604 VM to Build 17618
3. Now upldating an ESXi Build 17604 VM to build 17618 using setup.exe on the 17618 ISO. This instance reverted from Skippy and the registry hack did not work. It likely would never update until the fast and skip ahead tracks were merged. I'm going to run another imaging program on my Windows Server 2016 and go to sleep. We will see what happens when I awake.
Upgraded VM so took long time.
Playing with sets so far disappointed.
Was anyone able to open file explorer in new tab of file explorer window (two file explorer tabs in same window). When I open new tab it just opens Edge.
I can type app name to launch it in search bar and most of the time it either launches new window or overrides previous tab if app was same.
I only had success opening file explorer and weather app in same window tabs.
Oh never mind found this in blog:
- When launching a supported desktop (Win32) app from a tabbed window, such as protocol/file launch or from the new tab page, it launches in a new window instead of auto-grouping to the existing window. You can work around this for now by holding down the Ctrl key while launching a supported desktop (Win32) app – note, for File Explorer, in particular, you will need to hold down Ctrl until the new tab with File Explorer appears, not just Ctrl + click and immediately release.
