I can understand how Settings would crash if and when Store isn't working or if it's absent altogether.I just don't understand this line " If you open Settings and clicking on any links to the Microsoft Store or links in tips, Settings will crash. This includes the links to get themes and fonts from the Microsoft Store".
For me and I suspect other users as well it just works fine.

That is good to know Count MIke. In any event, when I saw this I rushed to install Debian GNU/Linux which is available as an app for WSL from the Store. I read that Kali Linux (used for penetration protection) is also available from the store which would be major but I could only find books on Kali.
Spoke to soon. USB digitizer for security camera doesn't work any more, "Device in use or not compatible".
All installed but I still don't have Sets. No option to turn it on under Multitasking settings either.
I just realised that I created a new MS account for the insider machine so I dont have skip-ahead access.
It doesn't matter if the Store works well or not, every time you click on one of the links that lead to the Store, Settings will crash.
The Store works perfectly for me.
