I guess so, I think it's one of the most requested things in the Feedback hub regarding Sets.

John, when you use the square box in the upper left of the Edge screen (next to settings) it saves what you have been viewing. But at next opening -- i.e. this morning -- the marked boxes have disappeared and the dialog is 'Tabs from last time there is nothing saved' or something like that. So what has happened?
    Ahh, saved tabs.

Open Edge - are they saved (and thus accessible) there?

Well! I haven't used my insider machine for a couple of days and now I find that I have tabs working!

However when I try it on file explorer, the new tab opens a web browser page and not file explorer.
Yeah, we had a discussion on this a few pages back - it's not tabs it's Sets. All the recent articles from the day that 17618 was released mistakenly call it tabs when in fact it is not tabs. That was the exact reason why I linked three posts from back in November that not only called it what it was, Sets, but explained in great detail what exactly they do, are meant to do, and possible future outlook of the feature.

    At least not yet, anyway.

Revered from Skippy to Fast ring - can't update

I have a virtual machine which was rudely reverted for Skip Ahead to Fast. Now I can't update anything and I'm stuck with Build 17604 until who knows how long. Below is the cryptic screenshot from Settings. Any ideas?

The same happened to me. I posted about it several pages back. Will have to wait until RS4 is released and then you will rejoin Fast for the next version RS5.

What I meant was, the option was missing completely, then it showed up.

Very interesting thread. Can you explain further about the 'middle button', quoted below. If I left click whilst holding control and click on Explorer folders from the Start that works opening new tabs. But I'm not sure I'm clear about the middle button?

"if you want to open multiple tabs of the file explorer you can click with the middle button on the file explorer icon in the taskbar,"
