Well, after a lot of messing getting 17115 running on host rather than in a vm, I tried this.
I am rather disappointed though - it seems sound is still not working.
When you click enhanced mode, an xrdp login screen pops up. What floored me at first was the Linux PC name was simply M, and when I entered that, and password, it failed to login. With trial and error, I found I hade to put pc name in lower case as m!
You cannot seem to drag the session borders to resize vm. However, you can set size by the normal slider in the enhanced resources menu. You can change size by editting the vm config file if you save one.
Cutting and pasting from host now works well.
The one problem I have is connecting host pc drives via the thinclient interface but that could be because of my lack of knowledge.
Re. installing 17115, in the end, I had to install 16229.15 and upgrade - trying to clean install isos failed for various reasons - including the need to disable secure boot as certificates are missing from uup made isos.

I installed this build a couple of days ago through the Slow Ring and so far have been very pleased wit it. So far no problems :)

16299.251 to 17115.1 Home Edition
We upgraded successfully to build 17115 few days ago without a glitch in about 50 minutes.
All parameters in settings are working normally except the following:
- In other sound options, App and device preferences, Mozilla Firefox (vol. ctrl) are duplicated. Varies on startup and Settings crashes occasionally when entering the area
- In privacy, location for this device (change) popup is dead and all others are working properly. Their value does not match original setup and shown switch; Inversely proportional duplication
-Color Filters WIN+Cttl+C works, but we wish to have an option for desktop only and not system wide: WIN+CTRL+D+Grayscale
-In Start Menu, calculator size is small in a black box, but tile works
-Lost Defender old UI in taskbar and shortcut opens the new one. RUN + MASASCui.exe returns an error: Windows cannot find...
-Sleep as usual is reset to the login screen in less than 10 seconds. This HP bug was in the box and we almost tried all parameters mixtures
-Removing Windows.old was fast in Disk Cleanup
The rest is quite and stable and we did not lose any programs other than Defender old UI.
BTW, at the end of a cycle, when fast and slow meet, it goes public few days after.Last edited by MikeMecanic; 11 Mar 2018 at 21:50.

Thank god this horrible bug is squashed!

That was killing me in the last few builds.

I've just got to 17115 after having to download 17025 from Microsoft.
This time it seems to have been caused by the failure of a 120gb Corsair Force ssd. I cannot get the pc to recognise it at all when connected to sata and only a fleeting hint of recognition when in a case with usb3.
Now it is up and running using a Samsung 850pro 256gb.
