Well Satya has always been Cloud-centric so this development is definitely to be expected... those of us that do not use MSA will be left out I suppose...

You are correct! Will be awesome if they make it work properly. Personally I use proper version control software for this kind of stuff. But that's me. :)
Timeline can be used by both local accounts and Microsoft accounts. :)

Thanks smactilactus (sp?) for your explanation of Timeline. I hadn't tried it before but, yes, what's not to like.

    Pretty darn clever, MS.

Tweeted this end of December, since that Timeline has only become better:

They're at some MVP summit so doubt there will be much this week.

Thanks for the explanation. I can definitely see how that being able to use what ever device you have available to go back in a project to a point just before a mistake was made would be a very helpful.
Your welcome. It works perfectly well on my desktop. But for some reason, it isn't working but about halfway on my Surface Pro 4. I have checked the settings, and they are the same on both pc's. So I'm in the dark about why it isn't doing everything on the Surface. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I sent in feedback on it.

Ed might very well be there, as he did say he was traveling to an MVP summit this week....

But I don't see which one you're referring to....
