    Link works fine here too...
Seems to have been a temporary regional issue.

Akamai runs a Content Distribution Network (CDN) for many of the top websites.
The primary technique that a content distribution network (CDN) uses to speed the delivery of web content to end users is edge caching, which entails storing replicas of static text, image, audio, and video content in multiple servers around the "edges" of the internet, so that user requests can be served by a nearby edge server rather than by a far-off origin server.
    https://www.akamai.com/us/en/resourc...on-network.jsp

Looks like your 'nearby server' threw a wobbly, so 'regional' was the correct diagnosis. Akamai's fault, not Intel's.

    Hi,

Just a FYI this update does not install on W10 17133.1.
So machines running it are again vulnerable (unless BIOS/EFI was patched) until MS releases an updated KB for the SCU.

    Cheers,

I just ran the test and I am protected as much as I was in 1709.

    Hi,

Thats odd. I did an online upgrade on several machines. Only the one with the UEFI update (Skylake) is still fine.
Al others aren't and lost their update history except for the MS Office ones.
KB4090007 refuses to install on the latest RTM.

    Cheers,

It must have been included wit the build. I do not have the KB4090007 so I have to believe that it was included.

    Hi,

I do not have the KB4090007 so I have to believe that it was included.
Maybe so but then my machine was fully (softtware) patched when running 1709. It no longer is since upgrading to 17133 so something's not quite right.

I was wondering why KB4090007 applies only to version 1709 and not also versions 1703 and 1607.

Why would the version of Windows 10 even matter? I doubt version 17133 loads the microcode any differently.

    Hi,
Because the 1703 and 1607 are no longer supported :)

Support for 1703 ends in October, and support for 1607 ends this month.

The point I was trying to make is that if you're using version 1703 or 1607, you need to download a different update from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
