    This is weird too:

When using custom fonts, (fonts from the Store, btw), the main Media OSD characters are corrupt but on the Lock Screen OSD they are okay!
    No biggie, just weird!

It is possible I guess, the enabling software was added in last build but we only got informed this build - that would make sense, and then that could explain why people are getting sleep issues?
I gave feedback on the whole situation, so maybe they'll read it and realize what they did. Maybe? :)

There is a way to test this new feature in the build 17107, first you have to verify that the PC goes to sleep in the time that has been set, in my case I configured it in 2 minutes to do this test, then you just have to go to "Windows insider program" and change "Active development" to "Skip ahead" and check for updates, build 17604 will appear and it will start to download and install, effectively, the PC will not go to sleep while it is downloading and installing an update, then go to "advanced options" and check the box to pause the updates by 7 days, you wait for two minutes and you will see that the PC goes to sleep at that time, so, at least in my case, that new feature is working as it is supposed to work.

Sure but you are basically doing what I surmised ie doing a build upgrade, and it has to be on host pc, not in a vm of course.

However, a neat way to test it though.

Knock Knock, my system (17107) has now started 3 days in a row without issue. When 17107 was first installed, I got an error 65b when trying to invoke the powercfg -h off command, translated to mean I was not at an elevated command even though I was. Several re-boots etc somehow corrected that and I was successful with the command.

Yet never I repeat NEVER have I disabled fast startup....go figure?
And both of your devices shows as Surface Pro devices, as opposed to home built / store bought desktop machines, particularly older ones that still rely on BIOS versus UEFI.

The left panel of the WDSC has several changes in this build, before when the transparencies were disabled, the panel was black and when they were enabled it was dark gray, now it remains dark gray always, they also fixed the bug that had the three lines of the hamburger menu (mentioned in the list of fixes), the most notable change is the elimination of the animations and, as with the Edge hub, they also removed the "Reveal" effect.

Hesitant to install this build, No one here seems to overclock and since 17074 overclocking has not worked for me all the way up to build 17604.
No worries. I am way overclocked, and my system is running smoothly except my start menu, which was probably just an install error.

Have you tried doing a restart?
Yes, of course. Several times. It looks like I am going to have to roll it back and reinstall it again. I've never experienced my start menu not working before in any build. So I am chalking it up to just an odd install error.
