Installed late last night, made my ISO and checked that Hibernation and Fast Startup were both disabled; they were.

The first glitch was that my Range Extender somehow got cut off and I had to turn it off and back on to get Internet. Never had that happen before.

The second one happened when I woke the computer from sleep this morning; it wouldn't open its eyes! Just a blank black screen! FWIW, I don't recall ever having any problems with sleep. Not even with Windows 8.1. I haven't let it go to sleep again, but I'm caught up with the threads I read, so I'm going to let it go to sleep and see what happens this time.
Well, when I came back, the computer was asleep and again wouldn't wake up; just a blank black screen when I tried to wake it.

Wynonna, I've been having the same problem starting this AM when tried first wake after update to 17107. Been Insider since beginning and never have had a sleep problem before. I've tried a number of "fixes" and several restarts found after a search but to no avail. Probably going to have to wait for next update and hope it cures whatever the problem is. I have reported several times today to Feedback Hub since I always get the message from MS asking me what my problem was when I did a hard reset.

Yeah, this build has problems with the sleep, in my case, it doesn't wake up, it simply shuts down, this didn't happen in build 17101, I've also reported it many times when I turn on the PC again and the notification from the Feedback hub appears.

Yep, nothing I can do will help at this point.

I've told 'em twice, so I'm not bothering any more, Leo.

I'm going straight to the feedback hub and see if I can find something that works ... like I did when I found the no-boot issue. :)

This crashing on waking up is driving me crazy and trying to go back to the previous version from Setting > Recovery option seems like I found another problem:
When I click on "Get started" there is a pop up screen asking why am I going back and then I answer it and click "Next" and nothing happens.

    17107 Update

Completed the update to 17107 which took one failure and one second try and both sessions took about an hour + total. ISO was made using Kari's updated tool. (Thanks much Kari). First failed update stopped on the desktop at about 25% install completion. Seems to be working fine so far.

I'm turning off sleep for now. Just setting it to sleep Never.

I've turned my sleep to Never, Leo.

Not ideal, but beats what's been happening so far.

Another thought is that instead of wiggling/clicking the mouse, maybe punch the power button? I may let it go to sleep and try that first, then if it doesn't work, I'll try Sleep Never.
