Build 17107 fails to compete. It stops at 63%. At 63%, search has 5% of CPU, Windows explorer has 15%(It is not running) and system idle processes has the rest. Why? How else can I track down why this is happening and how to fix this? thanks

    - leave it on all night - mine took over 4 hours..
    - it looked like it had stuck, but I left it alone to do its thing..

Equating to March 2018. Although this build will probably be released to the public in April 2018 from what I've heard.

    No rocket science required here:

Microsoft has publicly announced that feature upgrades will be in September and March, each year. The next Windows 10 versions will be 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909, 2003, 2009 and so on (YYMM, two digits for year, two digits for month).

However, these new versions will be first released to Insiders. What was earlier called as "RTM ", 1803 will be a build Microsoft releases to Fast Ring sometime in second half of March, next month. You can be absolutely sure it will not be this build 17101, not even the next Fast Ring build. Just have patience and wait, my guess is there will be at least two or three more builds before final 1803.

Some time after releasing the "RTM" build to Fast Ring end of March, in beginning of April Microsoft will then release it to general public. At that point it will get the official name, my guess is it will be Windows 10 Spring Creators Update version 1803. Eating a can of cat food in live video broadcast if I am wrong.

Short: final release of version 1803 will be released to Insiders second half of March, to general public early April. Exactly as was done with Creators Update version 1703 and Fall Creators Update 1709.

And than Skippy will get 18xx number too. It's still 17xx but believing Buildfeed it's at 17612 right now. Should see it early next week I suppose.

I'm with Kari on this one. Considering that the version inside of 17107 already says 1803, you can be pretty sure that that is the version number of the next one that is released.

And the name 'Spring Creators Update' has already been seen in use...

Will next Windows 10 version be called 'The Spring Creators Update'?
