Jason Howard and Jen Gentleman had also "anticipated" the arrival of Sets to the file explorer in the next Skip Ahead build:

But who knows, plans can change...

    Hahha!

Tabs in Explorer is something I hope can be totally disabled once added as default to the system.

If it's just tabs, then it's a useless feature for me, but if one can also bookmark different sets and select a few tabs and force them to go side by side or in a 2x2 or 3x3 grid (or similar configurations), then it would be useful. Just adding tabs just for the sake of tabs I find no interest in.

So for Sets, what apps currently supports this? Edge and One Note (and all other Office Apps)? Anything else?

    :)

After Total Commander all that is trash, what really is needed is dual pane.

Funny thing is that W3/3.1 had proper one. Killed in W95 for unknown reasons but would work if file was installed from previous windows.

Hahah! Yeah, Win3.11 was a beast. I could still live with that one, instead of "bling bling ninja taco hat cat Windows"

I still have a copy of Windows for Workgroups 3.11 and DOS 6.22, even have a couple of computers I could run them on but drivers would be an issue.

I have them too, original diskettes for 3.11 and unpacked DOS 6. something. Might be collectors item one day.

Same here, original Win 3.11 and MS-DOS 5.0 and MS-DOS 6.22. Especially DOS is very useful for many tasks. :)
