It was also in NT4. It had a feature (at least, when used on NT4 Server) that I used regularly when I was working as a Network admin. You could click on a file and see which users had it locked, with the ability to disconnect them if needed.
File Manager (Windows) - WikipediaFile Manager was rewritten as a 32-bit program for Windows NT. This new version correctly handled long file names in addition to NTFS file systems. It was included with Windows NT 3.1, 3.5, 3.51, and 4.0.
Unfortunately NT4's 32-bit File Manager doesn't seem run under newer versions of Windows.
]No signs of new Skippy build?
We are in the period where, while rs4 will get 2-3 weeks, rs5 will maybe get a build every 2 weeks. I'm guess we might get a build around 17615 next Weds.
Whole-heartedly back multi panes over tabs for Explorer. Been using xplorer2 for many years, now, and have dual panes side by side. Great for copying. And it also has tabs and has had them for ages. And the free version is all most would need.
It has been so useful to me I have even given them a donation!! Must be time for another, though.
Hi,
Is that the free UWP app that's available through Store you're using ?
Cheers,
No. Didn't know there was a UWP ver! Couldn't find it when I just looked.

Lol for sure. I've paid for the lifetime license upgrade for xplorer^2 many years ago, and still use it daily. While tabs on Explorer would be nice, multi-pane would be nicer. Both would be nicest....
Yup - the lite version - Nikos is always actively developing X^2, both LITE and paid versions.....
