I don't know about diskcleanup, but I typed winver in search and it says Version 1709 (OS-build 16299.248). Guess I am all set then :)

I've nailed it (at least here:)

    Hi!
Like many of you guys I've lost quite a bit of time trying to install kb4074588, facing the infamous 'unknown bug'.
Anyway, I've managed to install it successfully, and this is my recipe (actually it's more or less a compilation of suggestions from this wonderful site and from MS technotes). I don't pretend this will solve for sure any update problem, but you can give it a try
    What I did:
-Completely disabled Avast Antivirus (but keeping it installed)
-Deactivated a task in the scheduler which was automatically loading a bitlocker drive
-Applied Brink's 'reset windows update' bat file from this site
-Picked the update file (windows10.0-kb4074588-x64_baac70613d5503dcd3e652ac24b7f432f3579eef.msu) from Windows catalog website (my version in 64 bit) and run a manual update

    That's all !
Hope this could help some of you spend more time with your families

    Bob

    Hi,

    Looks like it.
You verify with diskcleanup by opening file explorer, right clicking the C: drive icon and selecting "Properties" the diskcleanup.

    Cheers,

I don't know if it's just me, but my laptop is running much more warmer then before the update!

Edit: please ignore this one, a good blow on the CPU fan and all seems fine now :)

Suspect this month update broke my Razer mouses:

Anyone experience issue with Razer mouse driver unavailable or error? Both my Razer Atheries and DeathAdder fail to work.

    Laptop: Lenovo 710S-131KB
    Mouse:
    Atheries: driver error (Bluetooth connection)
DeathAdder: driver not available (USB connection)

Re-install driver also fail to work.

Swap with Logitech M557, work fine.

Atheries works fine when connected to my company HP 745 Elitebook laptop.
