Mr. Flu visited me all last week so got around to installing 17093 yesterday. Install went ok, did the usual image before shutting down for the night. This morning, no boot at all, tried several things, no luck. So decided to restore the image from last night and appears to be back in business. Another case of weird behavior?? p.s. Thank you "reflect", saved the day once again.
Same thing happened to me, Meebers, but I didn't have a backup made.

I tried WinPE from Macrium about five or six times with no results, then went into BIOS and turned off Secure Boot.

Silly computer started booting again, but I don't have a clue as to what made it start booting.

Does anyone remember where in the cycle we started a skip ahead to RS4? Here is the current state of play on buildfeed. net?

Unfortunately, I don't consider likely that we would get 17102 which was compiled on Monday. Not enough time to pass through the internal. I'd really like them to release a RS5 canary. We will see

I just noticed a $WINDOWS~BT appearing in the Windows root system. Anybody else seeing this? It could be a preparation for a release tomorrow.

10.0.16350.1001 was the first RS4 build and 10.0.16353.1000 was the first one released to the public for those on Skip Ahead.

A few releases later we got 10.0.17004.1000 that actually had something new, specific to RS4 to offer (the previous builds had only some refactoring going on).

The newest beta version of MBAM 3.4.0 Latest Version of Malwarebytes - Windows 10 Help Forums solved a big problem on 17093 I had. MBAM Exploit Protection would turn off after about 10 seconds and was impossible to turn back on. The beta MBAM is now compatible, in that regard, with Insider. I had an open ticket with MBAM, if you wish to look. Windows Insider Builds and Exploit Protection - Malwarebytes 3 - Malwarebytes Forums

Just passing this on in case anyone else had same or similar.
Interesting. I still have no issues with the exploit protection turning off.

Again, for those that do not know:. If you have issues and need to move from ßeta back to stable, it requires a complete uninstall, cannot install stable over ßeta.

That being said, I might give this a whirl on my IP machines.

    Interesting. I'll check mine.

I am happy because my old machine came back to life and was able to reinstall windows on it. I am considering getting new hardware though, whether that'l like for like or newer hardware, I'm not sure.

I think I may have finally solved a problem with my Acer Spin laptop crashing while in sleep mode. I tried removing Malwarebytes, running sfc /scannow, driver updates and a few setting changes to no avail. Last night I left the laptop running and went to get a snack. I was only gone for about ten minutes and when I came back the laptop was off. I used the Windows Recover to go back to the FCU and that caused so many problems I decided to do a clean install of the FCU. While I was waiting for Windows to install I calmed down and decided to thy this build one more time. Once the FCU was installed I did all the updates. Then I ran sfc /scannow to check for any problems. I only loaded Macrium to make a image and UUPtoISO to make the ISO before restarting. I rejoined the Insider Ring and restarted my laptop. When I checked for updates Build 17093 was in the process of downloading. When it finished I made the ISO and hit restart. After making sure this build was running OK I installed all the other programs. So far sleep is working without crashing my laptop. The only real problem with this build on my laptop was caused by Malwarebytes.

It's not on mine. Yours could be a leftover. Did you check properties to see when it was created?

The computer crapped out again with insiders installed so I think I'm avoiding 17093.

Update: I guess no build today.

    Roses are red

    I'm bad at poetry
    No build for you

    How'd I do?
