How large is this UUP Dump supposed to be ? Already downloaded 7.5 GB and no sign of stopping.

By the looks of it, you are experiencing exactly the same issue me and many others have, but without the SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION. I saw a few reports at feedback hub with this behavior for Surface and other devices too.
Usually caused by outdated Graphics Driver....If you can get into Safe Mode uninstall Driver, restart computer, install latest driver from manufacturer.

That looks awfully large to me - how many files is it downloading? I think 29 is the correct number. I had several attempts where it d/l 56. Double the 28 - this was before the missing file was included.

430 files, darn, looks like it's downloading some international version instead of US-En.
Ugh, yes, I left it on "All editions", stopped it now.

As others have mentioned - minidump doesn't always act properly - I like it because it is so darn fast compared to WU.
May have to let this d/l run its course and start again, being careful to get exactly what you want.
do 1 step - do it well - then move on -

UUPtoISO worked. I used Rufus to make a USB stick but it won't install from that.

That's the problem I had. It behaved like a recovery drive instead of installation drive.

    17093

Installed 17093 last night and it took quite a bit longer then usual. ISO was created using Kari's UUPtoISO tool. For the first time I lost my "tried and true" gold XP Mouse cursor and it took me awhile to find the setting for it in Control Panel. Also had problems using themes because they crashed the Settings Window and I could not change the desktop background. I changed to a new Theme using File Explorer and that seemed to fix the problem. I'll post these issues tonight on the Feedback Hub. Everything else seemed to work.
