That was painless. I set it off and went to bed. It was waiting at the desktop when I woke up.

    PM sent.

Thanks for that file, but I am still getting errors. I did transfer the file to my UUPDump folder where the rest of the files for the newest build are stored. Anyways, here is the latest error:

I just resorted to using the tried and true UUP option, that is, let WU download and install the latest build and then use UUPtoISO in the C drive and create the ISO from the esd found in the Downloads folder of the latest build that was pre-installed by WU.

I would still love to know why I am still getting errors with the UUPDump utility, didn't give me issues in the past, just this time with this build...strange.

    Hmm...

    Anyways, thanks for your help.

You have to copy the file and then extract it in the same folder where you put the UUP files, I forgot that part, in my case it only worked when I placed the two files in the folder.

I let Hyper-V download the new build overnight. All installed this morning.

EDIT: My host PC seems to have rebooted as well.

    Updating my 2 VMs now!

For those who are into UUPDump, don't expect it to work straight away when a new build is released. It has failed me every time in the past, though works if I use it one week later for same release. Personally I don't even like the tool, though convenient (when it works). I've read through the code and it has a lot of flaws and every time a new release get uploaded, UUPDump requires human intervention to fix the code for a working experience. ...just my 2cents on the topic.

Pity they left it so late, I have to wait 8 hours now before I can play.

Yeah. I woke up at 1:30 (It's an age thing) and started it off. When I woke up in the morning it was all done.

I have some serious mixed feelings about this one:
New Graphics settings for Multi-GPU Systems:

In this build we’re introducing a new Graphics settings page for Multi-GPU systems that allows you to manage the graphics performance preference of your apps. You may be familiar with similar graphics control panels from AMD and Nvidia, and you can continue to use those control panels. When you set an application preference in the Windows Graphics settings, that will take precedence over the other control panel settings. Find the page by going to Settings > System > Display and scrolling down to the “Advanced graphics settings” link. (In future flights, you will see this link as “Graphics settings”.)
Should Microsoft be messing around with GPU's and Graphics cards?

I have seen, quite often, where Microsoft sends an update and breaks something(specially their own apps).

With the prices of graphics cards on the market now(my card cost 829€(about $1000) when I bought it, but if you try to get it from Amazon and friends, it now cost ≥ $1400.

I use the Nvidia control panel and Afterburner for my settings, and the last thing I want or need, is for Microsoft or Windows, to somehow "accidentally" set them, to what they think it should be.

    A good example is Blender.
In a multi GPU/graphics card set up, it doesn't need SLI or Crossfire, to use both of them, it just needs compute power, and gets it from both cards, also, they can be mixed cards(different series from same brand, or different brands even).
(when I finally get a new case, with better air flow, I'll have both my Zotac 1080Ti, and my MSI 1080 8GB Aero installed)

I can just imagine what would happen when Windows "decides".

I usually wake up several times a night, also age related.
