Well, I didn't use that trick - and it installed perfectly fine this time.

And FWIW, I generally prefer to have links so I can verify information myself, not just screenshots - for all I know that may be a workaround to a totally different issue that I don't have....

I have very difficult to believe that many users could use that trick. I mean, Citrix MSC drivers the trick mentions are only used by XenDesktop virtualization by Citrix. Not many private Windows 10 users I know who have XenDesktop installed.

At least I do not know how CtxMcsWbc.sys driver would be present in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers folder, or have any registry entries on a normal private Windows 10 machine if XenDesktop is not installed.

That is exactly what I was referring to when I said I prefer to have the links so I can do my own research.

I don't have Xen anything installed at home, though I do work with XenServer away from home. So, yeah, that trick would not have been beneficial to me at all.

Sorry friends. I deleted all my copies of the ISO on Onedrive by mistake and only have the DVD I made from it. I am using it now to try and make a Virtualbox. If I can find a Linux program to convert a DVD to anISO I will upload the ISO again. Otherwise, perhaps somebody else has it and will share - or wait a few days for the next build.
Try this free Windows-based program to make an .iso file from that DVD [I've used an older version]:
    Download BurnAware Free - MajorGeeks

Thanks. I was in Linux so I used the siimple command dd if=/dev/cdrom of=17093.1000.180202-1400.RS_PRERELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO BTW you can use anyffilename.iso.

I tested the ISO by making a VMware WS 14.1 VM defining the hd as UEFI with Secure Boot enabled. I booted directly into the GUI instatllation program and not the Recovery Console. As Always YMMV. Link should be ready in an hour or so.

Thanks for the link. FWIW I use Imgburn while in Windows to burn DVD's from ISO (Don't rememeber if it does the reverse opeation.

I use ISO Recorder - CD/DVD-recording tool for Windows .ISO creation. Used to use it heavily for both creation and burning, but Windows does a satisfyingly good job with the latter now.
