Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17093 for PC Fast+Skip Insider
-
An English 64-bit ISO is available by request.
Hi:
This file 17093.1000.180202-1400.RS_PRERELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US is available as a link if anyone wants to PM (one person has already). Keep Kari's iniformation in mind - I have not tried to mount myself but it should be OK uuptoiso (v3) completed successfully but in fact it's a MB or 2 shy of the 83 ISO. I'll burn an ISO and if I have a problem I'll notify and take it off Onedrive. It will remain until the next build.

Being a bit smaller is not unusual, Marty. Pulling some test code/telemetry stuff, tightening code as we get closer to release. It's happened in the past. I mounted the one I made and updated 2 other OSs and a couple of VMs, no problems.

Yes. Running setup.exe from the DVD I created seems normal. I will delete the ISO and download from my OneDrive to make sure that works (it will).

I can get my computer booted by using WinPE ... I plug in and boot from the USB stick, repair boot up, it wants to restart, which it does flawlessly. However, if I pull Win PE, shut down the computer and reboot, it's a no go.
What is really strange is that WinPE says I have Windows 10 Enterprise Insider Preview - C:\Windows. I have never installed Enterprise to this computer. Never!
Can anyone explain this to me?

"Known Issues" on first page updated for new issues.

I got both of my older IP computers updated today, a Dell OptiPlex 755 and a Dell Inspiron 530S [SFF], no apparent issues yet.
-
Windows Update got me to 17903 this evening - all seems smooth so far - lots to check out tomorrow.

I can't explain the definition of the build being Windows 10 Enterprise because it's one of the oddities that I've noticed that 3rd party seem to be feed from some system call in the last few build. Perhaps you could search Feedback Hub to see if its mentioned.

The ESXi VM updated to this build flawlessly. In general the build "seems" to be faster.

Only used it a little, but agree with your "seems to be faster" observation.
ETA - my install shows Professional in winver and SYSTEM - but shows Enterprise here -
