The trend now is to only allow signed extensions to run. From a Firefox extension writer I heard he expects them to enforce it in FF in a couple of months. Signed extensions already killed the MaxThon extension writing community. It was once a fun place to hang and request features, help test etc..

Why is it in wds 10 ... could MS just leave IE 11 intact .. ???
Well ..looks like i will have to stick with Chrome for a long while ... " not complaining though "
It's still there if you search for Internet Explorer.

Why is it that Apple always has the gorgeous UI and icons while Windows excels in performance and raw computational power.

When comparing the enjoyability of browsing the web between Mac OS X and Windows, I always seem to become addicted to browsing on OS X, while productivity-wise, Windows always prevails for me....

Anyone else with similiar usability experiences?

The reason I bring this up is because like the prior quote noted, the fonts on Windows 10 are hideous compared to OS X's Helvetica Neue/San Francisco.

If Microsoft could get Apple's designers....man....if only...

I used Safari on my Core I7 Mac Mini last night, what a joke, one of my old Atom PCs with Windows 10 runs faster. The whole OSX thing is a joke, when you run it for a while it just gets slower and slower.
The only reason I bought the Mini was because it was small and could run Windows. Agreed, the only thing Apple can do is design, their software is rubbish.

Microsoft is also working on the basics. Windows 10 battery life isn't exactly where the company wants it to be
That's the truth. The battery life on my Lenovo is worse than what it was with Win 8.

That's not good, I was just about to upgrade my HP Stream 8, is it much worse, or just a bit, I only get about 6hrs now, so I don't want to go down from there.

Noticeably different. I was in a 1 hour meeting for work and it went from full charge to 75%. It certainly never did that before. Win 10 has this battery saver feature that I need to look at. Also it could be an issue with Lenovos power management driver.
