    @er557
    If you have an AMD processor, you are one patch behind schedule and you should try the194 one.

    There is also a new security patch for Adobe Flash that you may try first to see if the standalone installer works.

    1. KB4074595 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player - Feb. 6 - Windows 10 Forums

    2. Cumulative Update KB4073290 Windows 10 v1709 Build 16299.194 - 64-bit - Windows 10 Forums

    You should also try to reset WU:

    We're there to help, don't be discouraged. The machine needs a kick, give it a try.

    I have an intel cpu, although adobe flash installed fine, the kb4073290 16299.194 failed the install just like kb4058258. I already reset WU and have done a disk cleaner of windows update components. So due to this bug I shall not reinstall the iso all over again, if the issue persists after next CU, I may wait or do an upgrade install when RS4 releases later on. This seems to plague many x64 systems after the spectre patches.

    Good work!

    Next patch is set to be Tuesday and safer to wait. A clean install would fix the stall issue

    All the best,.

    Why did you go to such great lengths just for a botched ms patch? It will probably be fixed the install issue in the next cumulative update
    Your question begs another. Why are you here asking?
