    16299.194 dual boot 17083.1000

    AMD/MS Catalog

No problem at all and happy camper with *194.

Error 0x80070005 when double clicking the kb file. PowerShell and cmdprompt also return an error: 0x80070032. File is 665MB for x64.

Delete the content of Software Distribution + Disk cleanup* + Revo Windows cleaner.

    No luck, same error.

My system downloaded the update and then just sat there doing nothing, no restart request. I tried a few things, even downloaded the update manually with the same result. Finally I disabled my ASUS Wi-Fi adapter and connected my computer by network cable. When I re-started the computer after doing that, it immediately did a few updates and restarts and when I finally got to log into the system I was presented with the Window Update restart option. A few minutes later 16299.214 was installed.

    10.0.16299.214 MS Catalog

    Got it now!

Made an error Sunday when trying to hide RS4 from explorer. Removed access to RS3 instead of RS4. Give back access privileges (full control) to RS3 and got this KB file to work.

Still doing newbie errors. So far, so good. Shut down hesitation maybe related to Winamp, to be confirmed. This one shut down at the speed of light= SSD

I manually checked for updates on the 31st of January 2018.
This update was available and installed.
    Cumulative Update KB4058258 Windows 10 v1709 Build 16299.214 - Jan. 31-kb4058258.png

After the installation and reboot of this update.
I experienced an issues with lag,
    while running the cleanmgr.exe.
The program sat for a very long time,
during the Windows Update Cleaning faze.
    However,
eventually it did complete it's cleaning cycle.
    Nothing further to report.
My system is up to date and stable.

    Hello
I have an installation problem with the new update KB4058258. The error is 0X80073715.
Same issue with olds KB4073291 or KB4056892. Only the KB4056892 Delta worked and the previous cumulative patch too.

I have downloaded this updates manually after KB4050258 failed with WU.
I have tried by installing the MSU file and the CAB file with DISM.
I have tried troubleshooter, deleted Softwaredistribution folder, removed Kaspersky, removed Virtualbox, updated drivers, restarted computer, SFC and DISM checks (no errors).

    Someone have an idea ?

    ...
It failed to install from WU or manually on 6 of 7 machines. All have the same Windows version.
The 7th machine installed manually & is the only one with 32-bit Win10 & it's an Intel Atom tablet
    Another Microsoft screw-up.

Downloaded KB4058258 and my version is now 1709 OS Build 16299.214, however the update history indicates that a restart is required to finish installing.
Restarts and shutdown do not clear that message.
Appears that MS is working on that issue.

    Otherwise everything seems fine.

Finally, I upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 10 with the ISO media creation tool.

The settings and programs have been saved and restored during the installation. Then, Windows Update have successfully installed the last updates.

Mine shows successfully installed on 2/1/2018, but as usual with manual update, the update history list (7 drivers + Flash) was deleted. Not a big deal!

Shutdown hesitation was introduced in *192, maybe the one before and is gone now. Shutdown instantly and remains fast and stable.
