A new build with a jump in the version number was compiled yesterday and uploaded to buildfeed. What this jump in version number means - if anything - I haven't the faintest.

    10.0.17600.1000 (rs_prerelease.180205-1426)
So, am I correct in thinking we should get Build 17094 as the final Insider Build to test before the March Release? Once that release is an accomplished fact, we should get Insider Build 17600 going forward? And maybe the Skip Ahead people will get 17600 as their next Build?

The next skip ahead, post-rs4, would be my guess. Or else that *is* rs4
Don't think it's RS 4, John. It has RS 5 above it. I think 17094 is the final RS 4 Build.

Sure, Count, if you'll be the first to jump in. That water's cold this time of year!

I'd say Build 17094 and then 17600 after the March upgrade is accomplished.

Yeah, I wasn't able to look directly at buildfeed at the time.

The buildfeed page shows it clearly as RS 5 and marks it pre-release.

Are you saying RS4 will be released in Feb? This seems unlikely. When we get clarity on RS4/RS5? I should probably try the Regedit hack to see if I can't get back to Skippy since I was bounced off a few builds ago.

If the 17600 series is RS5 then the 18000 series should be the Fall 2018 RS6 series. But I predicted the next build would either be 93 or 94. We probably should think either of those would be released after the bug bash has concluded. I think whoever said 94 as the last rs4 might be right but the 4 digits at the end might be something like 17094.1001 or 1002. But the numerology is a bit murky. We will know more after the bug bash.

And yes the reghack worked to put me back for the moment on Skip ahead.

I do not think I will bother with RS5 Skip ahead based on last time. It was a damp squib as nothing was introduced early of any significance. Maybe if they open Sets to all Insiders on skip ahead, I might change my position.

Well, the did cancel Sets until Rs5. Hope they are working on them right now.
