Yeah most systems in the household use Avast currently, Insider one only using Defender, though maybe will convert main system over to Defender on this system, and get to know it better than I do now

Did it give you a warning? Freeze during a scan?

I found the on my Defender icon again after the update. Ran the wsreset command and ran the troubleshooter, which always corrects it. Upvoted and commented in the Hub.
Me too. The troubleshooter said the temporary files were in the wrong place and corrected it. Did that on the last build too.

Didn't see no warning, don't think it froze, when I looked at it it completed the scan, then I left that machine alone to do a disk defrag on the hard drive as haven't done in a while, and went to my main PC and started gaming, and usual stuff, checked the other one later, and Defender black as can be, restarted and all lol
Hmm. This conflicts with your original question as if it stopped working.

Do you mean that it paused for a bit?

My post wasn't necessarily directed at you, but yeah, everyone should know everything about their AV.

Let me get the screenshot from the other PC, Was doing a scan with it, as I knew about running scans every once in a while, and this is first time I had it go like the screenshot shows, icon even missing from task bar.. Looks like I got it fixed finally after running Windows Update troubleshooter, it fixed Database corruption, pending update, and such, and now appears to be displaying properly

Well worked almost for a second, goto conduct a scan, and went black again, reported on Feedback hub, guess all I can do for now

You too, eh? That's the last three builds this has happened. Not too many in the Hub seem to either not have the problem or aren't reporting it. Only found one incident of it in which I upvoted it to 3, which I think one was mine from the last build. LOL. This time I commented also.

I see. So you got that screen, which lead you think there was something else wrong, which lead you to a WU reset? So, it's still not working? Is that what you're saying?

Correct on the Insider Preview System, won't scan, just goes to blackness like the screenshot shows, all machines are networked, Avast shows everyone of the other machines clean though
