Under the Hub icon is a settings gear, then you turn on the bar for it to work as described.
Yes, I know that, but, as I said in another comment, I already tried everything and it does not work:

When you turn it on a folder is created and adding bookmarks put them on the bar, what does it do that you don't want it to? Only problem I have with it, if you right click and choose hide, you have to go back in and turn it back on...

I think you have not understood, I just want it to work as it works in Chrome, the favorites bar only appears on the Start page and in the new tabs, it worked like this in build 17063, I showed it clearly in this comment:

If you look closely at the gif of that comment, the favorites bar hides automatically when you click on any favorite and it reappears when you return to the start page or when a new tab opens.

It does not auto hide, so I figure they are still working on it...

In build 17063, it was automatically hiding when the option "Show the Favorites Bar" was disabled.

Yes, the problem, at least in my case, comes from that build, as I said in another comment, hopefully in the next builds that feature works as well as it works in other browsers.

I also wished it worked as advertised, and I am willing to wait for a build where they get it straight, but I will stick with Edge and see how it goes.

@johngalt about Malwarebytes. I didn't have any Beta components turned on. I had trouble with 3.3.1 on a earlier Insider build and downgrading back to 3.2 solved the problem. I was hoping that Malwarebytes would work on this build but sadly it doesn't. I haven't seen anyone else post here or on the Malwarebytes forum about this problem so I imagine that there is something on my system causing this. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday I'll join their forum and report it. Not sure if I'll reinstall just to get the needed log file though. As for automatically updating on versions 3.2 and older It always use to notify me that a new version was available and ask if I wanted to update.

I have not tried to use sleep/suspend on 17083 but on previous build the computer would turn off and require a hard reset to boot. Does anybody know if this problem has been fixed?
My computer goes to sleep by itself, Marty, and wakes just fine; press Escape and enter the PW/Pin. Are you talking about that, or manually putting it to sleep and then waking it up?
