I agree. I've also been saved by System Restore, but that was many, many moons ago. For me, since Microsoft turns off System Restore with every update, I don't think there's anything there to restore to, so why bother with the hassle?

I was asking more out of curiosity. I use conventional networks shares. Now if that was to be deprecated....

As for System Restore, it would be enough to just leave setting as it was individually set in previous build/update.
