    MS Catalog 10.0.16299.194

There was a long hesitation when shutting down under *192 and the delay was even longer in UEFI. This KB file fixes it.

    All the best,

    Hello,
I've installing manually this KB on my Intel platform because of a Asus AI Suite 2 issue after KB4056892.
See AISuite fails to start after Windows update KB4056892 (Intel vulnerability patch)).

I'm wondering if the Intel vulnerability is still fixed after this KB which is to fix AMD boot process.

What do you think about that ?

    Thanks

Future updates will cover KB...892 patches, so no need for it and yes they are included.

But it is not recommended to install any Bios/FW-Updates so long!

What they did was a very bad job doubling the workarounds from BS to Bios patches, but almost dont add any additional security.
And that even buggy at all causing reboots on all even new systems.

How are you installing this on an intel machine? I have a i7 2600k and need a fix for the Asus AI Suite 2 issue after KB4056892 mentioned above. I've read that this can fix the problem, but am getting an error message about compatibility with my system when I try to manually install. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
