There is a catch! Too much BS for me! Thanks for the info though! :)

    Attachment 173537 ?
    Nope - no catch.

You can subscribe to Google Music (which is completely unrelated to the music that you upload). It's like a paid Pandora account.

The music you upload, is uploaded for free, stored for free, and can be played anywhere for free that you can access Google Play Music.

I've been using GPM for years now. Never paid a dime.

However, GPM for Android allows you to download any of the tracks you've uploaded / bought (even $0.00 priced tracks) to your Android device and play them locally.

    GPMDP doesn't have that functionality.

Yes, it's stored in one's MSA. Not sure, but in a hidden folder on OneDrive. That way it shows on any device that's tied into that account. The same with Sets. Start or work in one on one machine and work or finish it on another.

FWIW buildfeed.net show NO Canary build at all. Since I've been in the Insider Program I cannot say for sure this never happened, but it is extremely rare. What's the story here Microsoft?

Also, my physical machine has not yet been offered 17074.1002 on either the Fast or Slow ring so far. I think I'll leave it on the Slow Ring overnight or until a canary build shows up. It did show up on two VMware VM's which were already on 17074.1000. Neither the AMD or BIOS problems pertain to the physical which weathered the upgrade to 17074.1000 without a hitch.

I could not get VMware WS 14 to install on the Windows version so I may be spending more time in Linux where I made my HP Proliant into an ESXi 6.5 server which I'm liking very much so far. That's all for now.

After numerous attempts which included unsuccessful downloading, installing, etc
Updating finally managed to install 17074.1002 from 17074.1000.

17074.1002 running fine here - only one (possibly unrelated) problem..
AMD's HD sound doesn't kick in as expected - sometimes I have to restart Edge to hear YouTube vids..
    - could be Realtek driver or AMD's sound driver - both are up to date, though..

    - odd?

Thanks for that update, Marty. Yes, that is odd. From a business standpoint I bet a lot of employees have been working OT. Perhaps now that that the new features are out and things are pretty much running smoothly that they were told to cut back.

Hmm. That's odd for you, yes? Did you have to convince it?

My findings are that it's Edge. Freezes on me first used upon cold boot in the morning attempting to upload pics here. Have to close it out with TM. After that it's fine. I find if I minimize it as suggested in the OP that the sound then works. Yes, very odd indeed.

It takes a few days when changing rings. You may want to reset WU:

Reset Windows Update in Windows 10 Windows Update Activation Tutorials

Delete everything in this download folder:

    C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

And fast ring is, but Skip ahead isn't automatic. One must perform the Registry hack if it's still possible. I can find that for you if you'd like.

No problems at all with the new build. Edge working very well. The Old Dell actually a bit spunkier with 17074.1002.
