Twas fine this morning. Funny when I came back this afternoon. Wondering if it's the Optane Memory.

I've clean installed the Autumn Creator Update. I've signed up for a Physics Course in the local University. I'll need the PC for "real work" not "geeking". :)
Great idea! FCU working well here, except every time I open Edge I get a 1-2 minute freeze. After that all working great. Usually I am in such hurry that I rather fire up Chrome...has never failed me.

I've noticed that early on after clean installing Edge is very slow, and is as often likely to throw up the "Page recovery dialog" as not. But after a few iterations of reboots and power cycles, it seems to even itself out, to the point where those types of issues are few and far between.

I was being facetious as well. I was on mobile at the time and apparently my phone was switching towers - your images refused to load, and then came in very slowly. Like dialup slowly.

Sorry about that - I should have come back and explained earlier.
So you were surfing the forum while driving your car? That's great multitasking.

No need to apologize. I new you were yanking my leg by the emoticon.

Again, being facetious. I know you wouldn't. :)

Are you using emoji on your phone? They're presented as script until an F5.

Just ate. I think it's nap time. Later...

Yeah, using GBoard on my Android phone, in Tapatalk, I placed an ThumbsUp emoji on the line after my reply. Forgot that just because it shows in Tapatalk doesn't mean it translates to the forum code lol.

Not even that big plus sign?

    Reboot.

Also, are you logging in with your M$ account or as a local account?
    Can't click anything.
Using Local Account linked to MS Account.
Tried rebooting, Dism, SFC ... Nothing changed.
