If you don't use Edge or Mail app. I have crashes only with those two (a lot).I would like to ask anybody that uses Edge, if it remember startup size, if only maximized vertically This is how I use my browsers ( I have some icons on the left side of desktop, that are often use) and Edge will start fully maximized, once maximized from top to bottom. Any other app (not only browsers) will remember its size and position.Filled this bug many times before, but MS won't fix it... Could it be, it's only me??

Mine goes full screen unless a few pixels are left too Andre. It's not just you.

Try docking to the right side then closing and opening it. It will open maximised on the full screen. It the same in my FCU.
Hi there, Kado. Perhaps that's true because it's considered "half maximized". It's basically taking a screen and dividing it in halves (or quarters depending on how many windows are configured). However, I just played around with it a little here in 17074 and found something strange. When I dock Edge right or left, it reopens maximized. Any other app docked as such opens to what I believe is considered “Cascade” size aka “a particular window size it’s set to”. Some may call that minimized, but I don’t think that’s correct. It’s basically called cascade size in 10. Right click on the Taskbar to see what I mean.

I know what you mean Tony. It was actually Andre that was complaining because of the way he works. It's just fine for me.

I have been following for a long time and finally registered. I have been using both slow and fast ring for a while and have never had an issue until I tried Windows 10 Insider Preview 17063.1000 and as of late 17074.1000. I am currently running 17046 since 23 Nov 2017. The error I get for the two most recent versions listed above is the 0xc1900101. My BIOS is UEFI and I have disabled virtualization.

I have tried both the regular method and also used the ISO method from one of the other threads with the video and all.

My laptop is a Razer Blade Pro from 2017 and all drivers are up to date.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum.
Are you running some third party Anti-virus software ? Or firewall ?
If so try to disabled it and see if Windows now updates correctly to the next up version.

    Cheers,

Just running Win Defender and Malware Bytes 3. No firewall. I can turn those off and give another go.

I looked in the update history and did not see anything other than what I listed. If there is another place to check I can do that just need to know where. When it failed it was after a couple of reboots and the Win logo with the rotating dots on the screen. No error was displayed and then upon next reboot it showed that it failed and was restoring previous version.
