This must be something new, I recall 3 builds in one day a long time ago. I suppose this is better and cuts down on the Build numbers before they will have to go to 6 digits for the build number.
Nope. Just an incremental update for build 17074 that installs like a normal full release.

UPDATE 1/18: Today we have released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17074.1002 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. This build is the same as the version of Build 17074 released last week with 2 additional fixes. We have fixed the issue causing AMD PCs to become unbootable – which means we have removed the block for AMD PCs we put in place last week. And we also fixed the issue causing certain devices to hang on the boot screen after upgrading if virtualization is enabled in the BIOS.

VirtualBox's WDDM video driver won't run and hasn't for the last few builds and GSODed during the 17074.1000 install. If this is your problem try turning off 3D in the Display tab. It installs and runs for me but only in a 4:3 format using an MS driver.
This is an issue specific to 17074.1002. Can only select 32-bit for a new machine which is what happens when virtualization is disabled in the BIOS (it isn't). Error also appears to indicate VT is disabled.

    Hi guys,

I have Logitech C922 Pro that was working fine with Build 16299.xx before I upgrade to 17063, 17074 now my c922 is not working, I wonder if you have same webcam that works on build 170.xx? Let me know.

    See Camera error below.

It's fixed, Geisenhorn. I don't know why you can't get sound. Check your sound settings?
Tell it to the guy 2 posts above the post You replied to, who had this problem, and to whom I was replying with the aformentioned post.

Have you tried running the following command in elevated CMD and rebooting?
    Code:
    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
64-bit virtualization will only work in Hyper-V until hypervisorlaunchtype is switched off. Once turned off you can run true virtualization in VirtualBox, VMWare...etc...

To re-enable Hyper-V support run this command:
    Code:
    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype on

Yes, I know. And I was replying that this is probably a one time thing for Insider builds.

I understand that ,but since it only fixes two issues and some users cannot even get this installed, wouldn't it be easier to just upload the 2 patches to Windows Upload Catalog? Or posts links to them in the HUB?

Occam's Razor says that a new build was the simplest way of doing it for the insider team.

No. Because those two patches cannot be applied on system that cannot boot. And one of the two patches fixed an error that systems cannot boot when installing the original 17074.

So, if you upgraded to 17074, and your system cannot boot, how do you apply a patch?
