So far I only found one minor problem. I tried to watch a YouTube how to video on Firefox and didn't have sound. After checking that my speakers were on and the volume was turned up I thought the no sound in Firefox had returned. To see if it did I tried watching a DVD and still didn't have sound. It turned out to be a setting in the sound settings. Somehow the default got changed from Speakers(High Definition Audio Device) to Speakers(Digital Video Recorder). I don't even have a digital video recorder on this computer.

Yeah, Winuser, sometimes new Builds do stupid stuff to our computers.

Installing the 17074.1002 update now on my Dell Venue Pro 11. So far, so good. I'll come back here with a follow-up if anything odd or unexpected happens. Thanks for the heads-up @Brink!

PS: Yes, I did get flummoxed by the transition from Build 17074.1000 to 17074.1002. I wasn't expecting a full version upgrade with longer install time, Windows.old to cleanup, and so forth and so on. Should've paid more attention to the fine print and to the new header on the 17074 announcement blog post. Sigh. That said, everything appears to have come out OK with this new release, which I described in my blog post for today as an "involuntary upgrade repair install!"

Hi there, Ed. Good luck. I hope it doesn't do stupid things to your PC.

Liking your new site, BTW. Great stuff! :)

Click on that arrow sign (>) left to Title (Favorites) and menu will hide. It's stil wider than it was before, though. Will send MS feedback

Installing issue with virtualization enabled is fixed but now Virtualbox won't run. Been an intermittent issue with the Insider builds and I guess I'll just wait for Oracle to push out a fix.
