Has this been covered? Missing letters in EDGE and text.

    Nothing it is clickable
Not even that big plus sign?

    Reboot.

Also, are you logging in with your M$ account or as a local account?

Thanks for that, Eagle51. LOL. I went to click on Edwin's linked article for reference also and that Brink (assuming) changed it to one of his tutorials. He snatches those kinds of things up straightaway. Really on the ball that guy!

Enable or Disable Cortana Floating Search Bar in Windows 10 General Tips Tutorials

Anywho, I used his tutorial reg file there to merge. Works like a charm as always. :)

BTW, it works whether the Cortana icon is shown or not on the Taskbar. Don’t like it there. WinKey/S works fine.

Another feature to learn, but not understanding it all yet. Keyboard navigating works well in it. Searching Docs to open works well. Searching a contact opens my default Office Outlook for an email addressed to that person. I’d think it would open the contact, then choose what one needs. It’d be great for telephony. An email opens up Edge to Outlook.com to view it. I’d think they’d keep that local in case there’s no network. It also shows up on the Start screen for typing. Perhaps there’s some advantages to this. More suggestions for the Hub.

Thanks for finding and starting all this, Edwin. :)

From cold boot to desktop (dual-booting choosing one) > 37 seconds.

Thanks, Shawn, but I was being facetious.

I used full screenshots to get, well, the full effect of the types of searches. Much quicker as well.

While I'm at it; It's not so much "floating" for it can't be moved to a certain position on the desktop. It's rather just an immersive Cortana.

Twas fine this morning. Funny when I came back this afternoon. Wondering if it's the Optane Memory.

I've clean installed the Autumn Creator Update. I've signed up for a Physics Course in the local University. I'll need the PC for "real work" not "geeking". :)

I was being facetious as well. I was on mobile at the time and apparently my phone was switching towers - your images refused to load, and then came in very slowly. Like dialup slowly.

Sorry about that - I should have come back and explained earlier.
