Ok, but MS will never update your UEFI, they only can update microcodes for Operating System(Windows).

U can send me link of your BIOS, i can update microcodes for you, it's very easy.
I really mean no offense and I really appreciate the fact that you are trying to help me, but I have one question: How can the microcode be updated if the OEM or HP has not officially released a firmware update to that regard for my specific CPU(See post #527)?. I am just asking...

The firmware and microcode are 2 things, Microsoft can replace the microcode and have the firmware load the microcode when you boot.

I am still waiting for BIOS/UEFI firmware Update for my HP Envy 700-329 i7-4770 CPU @3.40GHz. My CPUID: 306C3 is not showing yet in the list provided by Microsoft, after recently running InSpectre:

Attachment 182765t site and checked drivers for it. Low and behold there was a UEFI update. Noticed no heading for UEFI/BIOS in the list for your PC though.

I've been lucky with a HP gaming laptop. It wasn't showing in the list (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05869091 ) at all so went to HP's help and support and found a Bios/Uefi update for it. Checked your PC and unfortunately no heading for Bios/Uefi showing.

Ok, maybe you have to wait HP to release UEFI with new Intel microcodes (in your case, 24 Haswell), but you can do that yourself with UEFI BIOS UPDATER, and then flash your BIOS with new microcodes.
    This is your UEFI

Isn't a microcode basically a firmware for your CPU according to text?

I have been checking HP Help & Support page every other day since the beginning after Spectre & Meltdown have been discovered and so far, as you just found out by yourself, I am not as lucky as you are. Thanks for your input

According to your second screenshot, my CPUID: 306C3 has a "No" in red for last update. There lies my main concern.

Yes, but the CPU firmware and motherboard firmware (bios and uefi) are different things. HP updates the motherboard firmware and can update the microcode with a motherboard firmware update, Microsoft can only update the microcode.
