Neither do I. I assume it all depends on what sort of cpu you have installed.

For those folks worrying about protecting their older machines which their OEMs have abandoned I sure hope MS will release a generic MC update as they have done back in 2015 as some member clearly showed.
They have the software to do so, it may only require some recoding for WinX.

Anybody know exactly which lines(s) refer to MCU? Intel Microcode Revision Guidance says 80 shouldn't be used, but 0x70 should. This PC should be OK since I just got a new BIOS update about a week ago that supposedly addresses Meltdown and Spectre. But I have a couple of others I need to check.

You're most welcome.
Most of us are in the same boat as yourself though. Intel is looking into it so hopefully we'll get the green light soon.
Keep an eye on Asrock's portal though, they may have put together a release schedule for their boards.
